Class : V To VIII

Keeping in view the CBSE recommended system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation, the session will be spread over two semesters:
1. Semester-1: March - September
2. Semester-2: October - February

Students will be evaluated through regular assessment of both Scholastic as well as Co-Scholastic areas.

Scholastic Area

Part I: Scholastic Areas include two formative assessments and one summative assessment in each term.

Formative Assessment (FA) will be on the basis of Weekly Assessments & Activities including Home Work, Class Work, MCQs, Quizzes, Lab Activities, Role plays, Presentations, Conversational Skills, Group Discussions, Multidisciplinary Project etc.
Summative Assessment (SA) will be a formal examination at the end of each term for 60 marks.

Second Term	FA3 (10%) + FA4 (10%) + SA2 (30%)	50%
Formative Assessment	FA1 (10%) + FA2 (10%) + FA3 (10%) + FA4 (10%)	40%

Grading System

Each assessment will be indicated in grades
Students will be awarded grades on a 9 point scale as per the following scheme
